The water cycle is a part of life on earth. All people and animals need water. The sun heats the water. The water evaporates into the air. It becomes water vapor. Water vapor makes clouds. This is called condensation. Clouds are made from a lot of tiny water droplets. Clouds rise and cool. This causes precipitation. Precipitation can be rain, hail, or snow. It goes into rivers. The heat from the sun makes the air warmer. It makes water evaporate. Then the cycle starts over again.
