In North Carolina, we often take water for granted. Sometimes it rains so much we get sick of it. And the floods that have come from hurricanes have definitely done some damage to our state. But in other parts of the country, and in other parts of the world, water is harder to come by--weeks and months can go by without rainfall, and sometimes the water that is already there is so polluted that it is unsafe to drink.
