We need it to cook, to clean, to drink, and to swim. But what do we really know about water? Where does it come from? Where does it go after it rains? And why do puddles disappear after a few days, instead of staying there forever?

WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this lesson you will watch one video and three animations that will give you lots of information about water, the water cycle, and watersheds. After completing some activities where you can show off your knowledge, you will return to the 5E portion of the Watershed Wisdom lesson, and brainstorm some ideas about ways to protect watersheds and the land and water that surround them.
