Thinking About Watersheds
You're just about finished with this interactive portion of the Watershed Wisdom blended lesson plan. When you leave this site, you and your classmates will be asked to brainstorm some ideas to help Mateo, Emily, Andre and Alexis protect the water in their area, and more important, you can start acting on those ideas to help protect your community's water too.
Before you go, here's one last activity: Click on the Arrange It box below. You'll find a chart with 3 categories--"About Watersheds," "Dangers to Watersheds," and "Watershed Management"--and 12 illustrated cards that need to be categorized. Drag each card to its correct category. When you're finished, there should be 4 cards in each category.
