Use the information that you learned from this lesson on the New Deal realignment to write a thesis statement to answer the essential question: Why was there a major political realignment in 1932, what was the political realignment, and what brought that realignment to an end in the 1960s?
Keep in mind that there are two parts to this essential question:
- Why was there a major political realignment in 1932, and what was it?
- What brought that realignment to an end in the 1960s?
