Activity #1 - Have a Scavenger Hunt! Parents: create a list of things kids can gather from your home or yard.  Have each player write down the items on the list.  Set a timer and send your kids on a scavenger hunt to find those items. 

To add excitement, play adventure music during the hunt or have the players dress up like detectives.

To make the game more productive, include a few missing toy pieces or lost socks as part of the hunt!

Flip it!  Have a child make a scavenger hunt list for you or their reading buddy.
