Design a September 11 memorial that serves as a physical remembrance of the day and of the people who were killed or affected by the attacks. Their work should include:
The specific location of the memorial: neighborhood, town, state.
The focus of the remembrance. Is this memorial recognizing first responders, flight crews or passengers, people who were killed or injured at crash sites, or people from a specific place?
A description of the memorial. Will it be a statue, garden, park, or something else?
How visitors will interact with the memorial. Will they go there to sit, walk, or interact with others? Will there be information to read? Will materials or symbols related to 9/11 be part of the memorial?
A drawing of the design. This can be a simple sketch or blueprint or a more detailed drawing or model.
