Commonly Asked Interview Questions
Doing your homework also means thinking about how you want to present yourself. Practice answering the following commonly used interview questions. Write answers to the more difficult questions. Then practice delivering your answers in front of a mirror. Use a smartphone or webcam to record yourself answering a few questions to find out how you look and sound.

• What did you like best about your last job?
• What did you like least about your last job?
• Describe your education. What skills have you gained?
• What are your career plans for the future?
• Why do you want to leave your present job?
• What motivates you to work hard?
The employer may ask you to describe specific situations in which you solved a problem, worked with a team, or other instances that showcase your abilities. Before the interview, prepare three stories that describe a situation, explain what you did to solve it, and show how you made a positive impact. Preferably, these stories would be from a previous job, but if you do not have that kind of experience, think about stories where you solved problems at home or school.
