The job interview is a chance for you to put your best foot forward. Listen carefully to learn more about the requirements of the job and the expectations of your potential employer. Do your best to make a good impression. Try not to give the interviewer any reason to screen you out.

During your interview, don’t make critical comments about a previous employer or coworker. Even if your point of view is correct, your interviewer will probably react negatively.
Focus on the positive. Use every question during the job interview as an opportunity to talk about your skills and strengths.
