Write About It! We know that forces cause motion. Forces like pushing, pulling, sliding, rolling or spinning can cause things to move or go into motion.
Think of 10 things you can push, pull, slide, roll or spin. Then write a sentence with the motion word for each. For example:
To play tug-o-war, two teams pull on a rope.
My sled can slide down the snowy hill.
I have a flat tire so I must push my bike home.
