Watch the scene again (or several times, as needed). As you watch, use the chart to record what you notice about the filmmakers’ choices and techniques. Pay particular attention to aspects such as lighting, music and sound effects, and the use of the camera (for example, close-ups of the actors’ faces or a long shot that reveals the landscape). Consider the location used for the film; the pacing of the narrative and action; and the casting, costumes, and performances of the actors.
