Carbon is the backbone for everything. It’s essential to our lives and everything that we have around us.
Carbon is one of the most abundant chemical elements in the universe.
Carbon is involved in all the processes that allow growth of animals and plants. It is involved in photosynthesis and in respiration.
The biological pump and the solubility pump are two ways carbon is continuously replenished into our oceans.
