Trusting the Media
As you learned from the Breaking Views video, many Americans have lost faith in the media. In fact, a Gallup poll taken before the 2016 Presidential Election reports that only 32% of Americans say they have "a great deal" of or "a fair amount" of trust in the media.
This number is down 8 points from 2015 and 23 points from 1999, as illustrated in the chart from Gallup below.
