More for Parents! You can help your student learn new things (and you might learn new things too!)
A good learner will get information from several books on the same topic. Try these tips with a topic your child really enjoys:
1. Find two different books or texts on the same topic.
2. Practice reading and discussing what is the same and what is different about the texts.
3. Play 'Compare and Contrast' with your child by comparing what is the same and contrasting what is different about each text.
Learning can be fun for the whole family!
