Mixing Colors of Pigment
Pigments make new colors through subtractive color mixing.
For example, imagine that you want to mix two paint colors together. Each paint absorbs colors of light and will absorb some wavelengths that the other reflects. The new color of the mixed paint is the light that both paints reflect.
