Additive Color Mixing

Did you observe how combining the primary colors of light produces brighter colors? This is called additive color mixing because both colors of light are detected by the eye. Televisions, phones, and computers use pixels that emit different proportions of red, green, and blue light to make all of the different colors. Areas of white are created with all three colors at full intensity.
