In this lesson, you will learn about three historical themes that were integral to the 1920s: technology and the economy, immigration and migration, and civil rights and civil liberties. After reading about the events related to each theme, you will decide to what extent the 1920s deserved to be known as the “Roaring ’20s.” At the end of the lesson, and after learning about all three themes, you will have a final opportunity to reconsider your opinion and will write a short essay to present your position, main arguments, and evidence.
