Final Assessment: Why is it important to study multiple perspectives?

When examining multiple perspectives, we find there are different views and interpretations of historical events. History is complex! After viewing the Unladylike2020 digital short (which provides a larger historical narrative) and locating an additional perspective online, answer the questions below in a short essay. Be sure to use evidence from both sources to support your response. 

• How does examining different sources help you better understand history? Why is it important?
• Why is it important when learning about how women have fought back against racism (systemic and racial terror) in this country?
• Why is it important to consider multiple perspectives on today’s issues?
