More for Parents!
Here are some teaching tips to practice with your child.
Children learn to identify letters through repetition and active learning. Take time to point out a letter wherever you find it. Make letters out of play dough, with sidewalk chalk or on paper. Start with the child’s name, since a name is very important to a child. After practicing with one letter for a week, choose a different letter. Make it a game!
Reading can be great fun when parents and children do it together!
