Write 10 items found in your house and think of the tools you would use to measure them.
All of the objects you listed may seem very different but they are actually all similar in one way: everything on your list is matter.
Remember, matter has mass and has volume (takes up space).
Did you know that all matter is made of tiny particles called atoms? Everything on your list is made of atoms.
