In this lesson we learned how to find answers within a text and how to ask questions.
Sometimes you have to be a detective and really search within the text for the answers. Here are some tips to try at home to reinforce this learning skill:

Help your students identify key words within the question and locate those words within the text.

Talk to them about reading sentences before and after these key words to find answers to the questions.

When they give you an answer to a question, ask them “Why is that your answer?” Having students support their answers with evidence is an important skill that all students need to practice.
