Introduction to Robotics
Robots are, in their simplest form, machines that can be programmed to complete work in place of humans. In today’s society, robots are being designed and built to perform increasingly different and complex types of work. Specific activities and even full-time jobs once completed by humans are now being assigned to robots!

Robots today are becoming more and more advanced. You may have seen simple robots in the past that fulfilled basic tasks. People are now designing robots that can even drive our cars.
What You Will Do
In this lesson, you will learn what robots are and their potential uses in the workforce. At the end of this lesson, you will design a robot that solves a problem in the workplace and explain the choices you made when designing it.
