Final Writing Assignment

Now use “Write It!” to expand your outline into a four-paragraph essay.

Summarize what you have learned by writing three paragraphs about the opioid epidemic–one about the epidemic itself, one about what caused it, and one about what’s being done about it.

Then, in a final paragraph, write about why you think the opioid epidemic is an important issue. To do that, pick out details from the lesson and give your own reaction to them. Use “My Work” to help you organize your thoughts.
