The Governor of Montana Needs YOUR Help!

The governor is asking students in Montana to help choose the next monument to be installed in the state capitol. The state wishes to honor one notable Montana woman whose life and work should be celebrated. You get to decide which woman should be honored. Read and study the biographies about five women who made a mark on Montana’s history. Then choose the one you think deserves to have a special monument in the capitol city, Helena, MT. Then you can design and share the monument you think would honor the woman and tell her story to those who visit the capitol.
