Exponential Numbers Grow Really Fast!
It’s easy to imagine being in a small room with 3 people.
If gets more crowded if you triple that number. 3 x 3 = 9, and there’s less room for everyone. In exponential form, 3 x 3 = 32.
It would get really crowded if you tripled that number again. Now you are surrounded by 3 x 3 x 3 = 27 people! You could also represent this as 33.
The room is filling up fast. Do you think 34 people would fit? How would you calculate that number? How many people would that represent?
