Introduction
Humans are an important agent of change on Earth. In this lesson, you will examine how human activities change the air around us and how this impacts environmental public health. You’ll learn how continuous monitoring of the changes that are occurring provides a deeper understanding of the way in which human activities are impacting the Earth system. This, in turn, provides the basis for social policies, regulations, and the development of technologies that can reduce these impacts.
