Step 1: Find the highest point on the graph. Follow the point down to the scale on the bottom. The highest point is above Year 4.
Step 2: Move from the highest point to the scale on the left. The point is at the first tick mark on the scale between 55 and 60. The point represents 56 thousand, or $56,000.
Answer: The best year for Ken’s business was in Year 4 when the net income was $56,000.
