Introducing the Process to Students

Start Simple. Students need to learn the iterative process before they can undertake fully integrated design challenges. Introduce the design process with a simple activity like this Matching Game. Once students understand the concept, try one of the simple challenges listed below. As students become more comfortable working with materials, begin to introduce more complex challenges with full iteration and integration with science concepts.

Introductory Challenges
