• You now have an opportunity to start designing your solar dream house. You will start with the roof, because that’s where the solar panels will be located to generate your solar power.
• Each square centimeter of your graph paper will represent one square foot in real life. This is the scale we will use.
• Design an interesting shape for the front side of your roof. Imagine it is flat on your "paper." Calculate the area of this side of your roof.
• What will your roof look like? Use the Visualize It! to draw your roof.
