Why Use Digital Media to Teach About Light?

When you teach about light in your high school class, students may already have developed some ideas about sources of light, how light travels, and that light behaves differently when it encounters different objects and materials. But students may also have an incomplete understanding of what light is, how it behaves, and what we can discover about an object by analyzing the light it emits, reflects, or absorbs.
