How Do We Store Water?
Let’s look at how water is stored and then transported when needed. One of the ways that the southwestern United States stores water is in reservoirs, which are areas behind dams that collect and store water from the river. There are over 15 dams and reservoirs in Arizona.
Lake Mead is a reservoir created by Hoover Dam on the Colorado River.
