This diagram shows a side view of Earth’s orbit. This view makes the orbit look less circular than it really is. 

Arrange the Earth cards to show how Earth’s tilt might appear at these four points. Consider how the tilt should appear to possibly explain the patterns of changing daylight and opposite seasons in the hemispheres. Remember that each hemisphere experiences longer daylight during its summer time of the year.
